About Spray Tanning:
 Spray
tanning is a safe way to add color to your skin. I use organic and
natural formulas to provide a safe, lasting, natural looking tan.
The “tanning” agent(s) in any formula (including
tanning creams) is DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) derived from natural Sugar
Beet or Sugar Cane and or
Erythrulose from raspberries. It works by mixing with the proteins of
your outer most layer of skin, causing a change of color. Your natural
chemistry will add to the way your color develops. My formulas are
skin care oriented for moisture and contain ingredients that are good
for your skin. Others may use a high alcohol base that can dry your
skin, fading your color faster.
Spray tanning is quick and private. You'll stand in my Tiki Tent.
You can wear a dark color bathing suit or underwear. We will discus
the level of color and
formula best for you. Your formula will contain a
natural cosmetic bronzer for instant color.
The spray tan takes about 8 minutes to apply and dries quickly so
you can dress in loose fitting , dark color clothing soon after your
spray tan is complete. Your "tan" will start to develop in the next 2
hours, fully developed in 6-8 hours at which time you can shower off
the bronzer, and enjoy your tan.
You will be given pre & post care instructions
before
your session for your best results.

Q: What is spray
tanning and is it safe:
A:
Spray tanning is a quick and
safe way to add color to your skin. It lasts several days, fading
gradually. There are no toxic chemicals. The
formulas I use are organic and natural. The agent(s) that give
“tan” your skin color are derived of natural ingredients.
Q: How will my color
look:
A:
At first you will see a natural
instant cosmetic bronzer.
Underneath your "tan" is developing. The level, shades and tone
will depend on what we discuss to be best for you - like golden
brown or red brown and how deep it should be.
Q: How long will my
color last:
A:
Spray tans last on average 5-10
days (depending on your skin and the care of your tan). You will
get the most out of your tan by following the pre & post tan
instructions given before your session. Your tan will fade
gradually.
Q: What about those
orange artificial looking tans:
A:
Your tan should look natural
with tones and depth. It is not likely to have artificial looking
orange tones. That is usually from too high a level for your skin
or too much formula applied. We will discuss the best level for
you.
Q: Is there any sun
protection with a spray tan:
A:
No. Your new color will not
offer any protection from the sun. The spray tan will not alter
how you will tan or burn in the sun
